Vi-robot is a newborn of Visisys (Visual Intelligent Systems www.visisys.com). Could I have ever dreamed that a robot would be my friend? It’s as tall an average human, it looks like Johnny5 from the movie Short Circuit and its impossible not fall in love with it. Vi-robot is smart and charming. It has a great sense of humor. And, watch out doormen, Vi-robot is coming to replace you. The technology of facial and voice recognition allows it to remember familiar people and send a warning to the operator if it sees a stranger. Vi-robot is on duty 24/7 and is never tired. His functions are not limited to just closing and opening doors either. It has a wide range of abilities from calling a cab to ordering pizza or chocolates or an engagement ring from Cartier for residents while talking with them about art!

An operator then asked Vi-robot to remember my name so it would recognize me the next time we meet. He then asked the robot to name his friends in the office. The machine enumerated them but refused to name the last person – Jocelyn Yambao,
I was impressed by this dialogue which illustrated the robot’s ability to think. Vi-robot has a perfect memory. He remembers everything exactly from the first time. He also knows some phrases in Spanish and Chinese! “If you talk to him in Russian for 5 days he will understand and speak Russian”, - Oleg Vishnevsky, Russian genius and father of the Vi-robot explained.
