UKI FOUNDATION Raises $2.1 mil with Sale of Artist’s Reproductions for Global Relief In support of “Water Drop: A Haitian Relief Effort”.
MIAMI, FLORIDA – Artists Pamela Rabin, Anthony Atkins and Patricia Sandberg will support the UKI
Foundation www.ukifoundation.org with the sale of limited edition prints of their works “I give you the world
for your heart” (Atkins), “Moondance” (Atkins), “Katrina” (Rabin), “Feeding the Fish” (Sandberg) and “French
Quarter” (Sandberg).
“The works were assimilated by Little Feet Gallery to produce a 2010 French Quarter Engagement Calendar to
help promote the works of artists in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina to showcase their reproductions
since the City of New Orleans only permitted artists to sell original work on the Jackson Square,” said Patricia
Gavin, founder of Little Feet Gallery New Orleans (www.facebook.com/littlefeetgallery).
“In cooperation with UKI Foundation and Gordon Atlantic www.gordonatlantic.com we decided to reproduce
images from the artists for use on the aluminum water cans and to support the efforts of UKI Foundation
water relief efforts in Haiti --- those images are to be featured on the Aqua Vitae™ aluminum cans of water
that will ship hydration supplies to Haiti and be bottled by Scrimp, LLC in Memphis, Tennessee.”
UKI Foundation is offering a limited edition signed print for $300 for “Feeding the Fish” and “Katrina,” -- works
of Sandberg and Rabin. Additional larger works of Atkins and Sandberg will retail for $500 and include “I give
you the world for your heart”, “Moondance” and “French Quarter”.
